Sophomores - Post Foreign Policy Glogs Here
Please make sure they are posted by the next time I see your class (Wednesday or Thursday). Students who would like to present their blogs in class will receive extra credit...if it is presentation worthy =)
I agree with the CEO's decision to not let the customer on the plane because if the cuatomer has cancer he could randomly hit the stage of cancer where it finally kills him while he is on the plane. What i dont agree with is the fact that they didnt let him get his money back when he paid for a $197 ticket just because it was non-refundable, well what makes it non-refundable. They say they feel bad for Mr. Meekins but i dont see it, if you feel bad for him so much why dont you just let him have his money back. “Spirit Airlines has a history of cruelty toward their passengers, but they continue to treat them like meat in a seat because their fares are so low they are confident people will continue to fly with them"; "They’re the worst airline in the U.S.,” Hanni said. “They put no money back into customer service, which is a black hole at Spirit.” Now based on the the reviews iI would not recommend using this airline.
Animal Abusers
I agree with Suffolk County's plan to post convicted animal abusers' names, addresses, and photographs online because that will be a violation of the privacy policy. I also agree with the facht that it will at least let the people with animals know that they are living close to an animal abuser. This bill will allow the people to get protection for the pet. This may decrease the percent of abuse animals around the US, and can also give people with pets alittle more confidenceto walk the streets with a pet knowing that they are safe from anyone to harm it.
