I think this is extremely fair. This is definitelty not a violation of rights because this is a set law. If a law is violated, the person must be punished. This is an excllent way for the state to make money because it does not include paying more taxes. I also think that it will make the roads safe because no person in their right minds would keep doing the same thing to receive tickets.

If Its Actually Slowing People Down And Insuring The Protection And Safety Of The Citizens In That Area, Then It Shouldnt Be A Problem. So What You Got Fined? You Broke A Law. You Put People's Lives At Risk. You Could Of Killed Someone's Mother Or Father, Or Any Other Family Member, By Breaking The Law And Speeding. You DESERVE To Be Fined.(Tyrone Koehler-Jones 2A)
I think that this is a good way to raise money because the government is in dept. I do think it is fair because car accidents happen all the time and I got friends that died n car accidents. I don't think that this is violating our rights. This makes roads much safer to me because drunk drivers will run in to you or your friends or family members and kill them and keep going and won't stop! So I think this will make roads much safer.
I do think that this is fair. This is not a violations of your rights. This is teaching you how to slow down and drive the appropriate speed limit and if you failed to do so then you will get punished. It is an excellent way for the state to make money. Every action has a consequence and if drivers fail to follow the law then the will have to pay for their actions. I do think this will make the roads safer because if a driver gets caught doing this they will most likely slow down the next time to keep money in their pocets. Like the article said it can also help lower the crash rate.

i think this is very fair, this does not violate any rights, its actually making our lives a little safer. the article states that police have seen a change in the speed limit which is a great thing. its also a good way to make money of course, i think everyone benefits in this situatution.

i think this is somewhat fair because people are speeding in work areas where people work at, cross roads, and etc. No this is not a violation of our rights because the government needs to crack down on drunk drivers and speeder's. Yes this is a good way to make money for the state because they are making people slow down in work areas. I believe the government is sick of doing advertisements trying to get drivers to slow down. Now their using other methods and this one seems to be working. Police cruisers are known for spotting speeders and pulling them over but they can't catch them all. These cameras make sure to spot everyone not doing the speed limit in a work zone. As many as 15 tickets can be given in 5 minutes. My opinion on this is when you see the sign that says the speed limit,OBEY IT. You may make the mistake of going too fast once or twice but you have to realize it and be more responsible. You should definatly do the speed limit in a school zone, why would you be speeding through there?
i believe this is totally fair. it is not violating no ones right there only trying to make the roads safer. many people abuse the freedom of driving and don't think about the risk of putting others in danger.I think is a good way to make money. It is very helpful because i feel that with this car accidents rates will go down.
I dont think this is a violation of any rights because you are breaking the law therefore you should be punished for disobeying the law. i think defiantly make the roads safer because no one wants to pay tickets just to drive over the speed limit.
No I don't think its a violation of my rights and even if it was there shouldn't be as man people breaking the law going over the speed limit. There's a consequence/backlash of some sort when you violate any rule and this is just one of those consequences. Yes I do think it is working cause the passage read that officers have reported 65 less people going over the speed limit. Honestly it really is a good way for the state to make money, cause there is always goin to be someone goin over the speed limit.

Yes This is Fair because first of all its a law, speed cameras are not violating anyone rights people just need to slow down Exceptionally in Maryland they drive BAD here this is definitely making roads safer and yes the state is making money now but soon i think it will stop because people get the idea that they need to slow down

In A Certain Way It Stops The People On The Road From Speeding and Racing In A Way But Im Pretty Sure The Governments Making Bank Off A regular Day Basics, It can Be Forbiding Or Rights Becuase No One Has To Do Right All The Time And By Them Trying To Enforce It By Cameras It Just Makes Us a Little Cautious But Sneaky Because We Know It Might Not Be another Camera For Another 10 Miles Ahead Which Makes The BackRoads Like a New Freeway, And NoNONONONO this Doesnt Help Out Our Roads.

This is fair, because some people are reckless drivers and they asre the main causes of accidents. I don't think this is a violations of our rights because if there is a speeding limit then you shouldn't try to go faster and break the law unless it's an emergency. I think this will help make the roads safer because if people are afaid to break the law and they know that the speeding cameras are there then they will drive safer so that they wont get in trouble with the law. This can be a good way to make money because it's helping protect people driving and it's a consequence for people actions.

I think it is fair but i also think they are doing to much with all the camaras. They are entraping us with all the camaras behind like trees, bushes, and then some of the ones they move them and put them in another spot.

I think that its fair because sometimes when people speed and don't really pay attention to their surroundings they end up in car accidents. They either end up in accidents or they end up hitting someone. I don't think its a violation of our rights because by adding the traffic cameras they are saving lives. It probably is making the state a lot of money. i think that it will make the roads a lot safer from the people who like to speed.
I think this a good way for our government to make money and also insecures/protects us the drivers on the road while we're driving. Also I say it's. Good reason to have cameras because it slows down the rate of car accidents because they know their are cameras around that area. So I am all for traffic cameras because if you know you speeding you better slow down or you going get click & ticked
I don't think its a violation of our rights if its fo r our own good/safety. There have been many insisdent due to people speeding and not stoping when tgey have to. Also many people aren't careful in school zone and in other places were people may be around. Also there are lots of teens driving that don't wear there seatbelts. Many adults drive under the influence which can put indanger others who are driving. It is better to have more safety in our streets.

i think that this is a good and bad thing. i say that because youre suppose to go a certain mph anyways so why should you worry. if youre obeying the laws anyways why should you care? but its bad because it can cause nervous drivers knowing that cameras are everywhere. being nervous can cause accidents as well. you just have to look at the facts. its good and bad but i wouldn't support this.

Dontonio Burdette2B: I think this is unfair because of these cameras more people are losing money because they have to pay for speeding tickets. my brother and cousin have to pay speeding tickets now because of these cameras.Also every time im driving with my mom shes always alert always looking to see where the camera is. Me personally i say take them down we dont need people losing money to be safer, just have more police out there to tell them to slow down nobody is losing money doing that.
Thiks is very fair. I feel as though if a person violates/breaks the law, they should be punished.This is a reasonable way for the state to make money.If a person gets a ticket, it might change the speed they drive . For some people, it may take more than one ticket . Either way, they will eventually learn.

I think this is fair. It is not a violation of our rights at all. Its made simply to make us safer, however it could misinterpreted to be a money making scandal. I believe they are just killing to birds in one stone. They're making money and making our roads safer.
This is not fair at all and it is all about money. The "speed cameras" on Allentown Road were apparently put there because there are schools present in the area. Cool. However, they should be turned off then after 3:30 p.m because that is when the latest school gets out. Since these things run 24/7 it has nothing to do safety it has more to do with cash. This is a cheap and dirty way to connive people out of their hard-earned money. If the state and county are that desperate for money they should just say that instead of acting like everyone is stupid.
i do think that this is a god way for the government to make money because this requires no employees. i do not think that this is the best way of reducing speeding because the cameras only track about a couple hundred feet. therefore drivers just slow down when they see the cameras or construction sites. this is a good idea. it should be expanded however

Yes this is fair, if you break the law you pay the price, its that simple. This is not a violation of your rights as you can do anything you want. This is a good way for the states to make money because they are helping ore people with something so simple. This will help make the roads safer as said that 65 percent of drivers that drove over 10 mph over the speed limit have began slowing down.

I don't think this is fair because it's just wrong to charge people if they are just going a little bit over the limit and not actually speeding. This is violating our rights because they (the government) just can't charge us money that isn't necessary to collect. Of course this a great way to make money because a lot of people speed and they are going to make a lot if money once people pay for their tickets that they are going to receive. I think this will make the roads safer because people will not want to pay for tickets therefor people will not be speeding on the roads, which will make them safer.
i think that speed cameras are very benefical and a good way to raise funds for things we need and projects that need to be done like helping to contribute to building thant new 600 million dollar hospital or fix up some of the terribe roads but i do notice a differencce in the state and that their adding all these new things like community centers and soon to come gambling finnaly maryland has been put on some type of destination on the map.

I think that this is completly fair. People have to follow the rules. If the speed limit is 50mph you shouldnt be trying to go 70mph. This is not a violation of our rights because speeding is against the law. You only get a ticket if your going too fast. This is a good way for the state to earn money because it creates safety while providing income. I do think this will make the roads safer because people will slow down so they wont get a ticket.

I don't think this fair at all. i don't think somebody can drive exactly the speed limit. you getting charged for going over the speed limit by a little bit. i do agree with it can raise a lot of money.it is a good way because its like you are getting money for their mistakes. it will also make roads safer because nobody wants to risk money for speeding.
This is extremely fair and is proving that it is making the roads safer. This does not violate peoples rights because they should be able to follow the law, and if they cant they need to suffer thee consequences. People are beginning to slow down on thee roads, and they are following the speed limit. There have been less accidents sense thee cameras and everything have been placed on thee roads and in work zones. They should keep monitoring everyone so there is less accidents and to make sure people are following the law.

I dont think camera's will make the roads safer because people run red lights everyday so it doesn't really matter if a camera is their and even without cameras being seen by the driver they still do what they want. Of course this is a good way for the state to make money im pretty sure their making lots of money of it too
