I think the students believe they are right for the job because they see things from a students perspective. Obviously arguments about them being a little bias & immature will come up. To me, I think its better to have college students make decisions for prince George's county because they know best what needs to be improved. Dyamond nelson 2b

I think the students think they should have this job because they see things that students see which in my mind thinks help students graduate.
They are easier to talk to then adults.College students should have the job because they know what it takes to get to college and how it suppose to be done.
I Believe Students Feel They Are Right For The Job Because As Students We Are Always In A Working Environment And Sometimes We feel And See Things In A Different View Versus The School Board.Some Issues We Have Are Things Such As School Uniform And School Lunch. If Students Ran PG County School Board There Would Be Immediate Drastic Changes. I Feel We Only Are Admitted To School For An Education Not What We Wear. I Honestly Think Young Candidates Would Be Perfect For The Job.

I think the students are right for this job because we are still in the feild of learning new things and we see things adults dont always see.college students have experience and know what we go through and can talk to use about education is more important to use then focusing on what clothes we wear or what people say about you because there not always gonna be around what you need to do is focus and worry about yourself and getting an education and a job to live in this world. First of all the curriculum are dumb except for mrs reynolds.The adults in their don't know what the hell they doin and put hazardous food on the list. The only thing edible is the chicken wings which are making me bigger but thats the only thing to eat but I wont starve so I have to eat. I think the kids will make better choices on the board /c they know the flaws in the system and they know what we want. They need to come in Friendly to fire some teachers. Some of these teachers in Friendly act like they droppes out of elementary school.Any ways I hope these kids know what theyre doing and I should be able to get better results if I go to the board and complain to kids rather than these hopeless adults.

If they're youngdidates then they must be right because, that means they got out of highschool a couple years. back, so they have intel about the thing's they use to see in highschool like poor grades, poor test scores , Etc.. so it's very import in who you choose to run , i think some arguements against them might be that they are young. so older candidates see them with no experience at all. but in my opinion i know it would be a good decision for them running for board ,because it's an oppurtunity to help our generation of student's that need to pass highschool.

Some of the arguments against them have to do with them not being able to handle a $1.6 billion budget. I believe they are right for the job because they are closer to our age and they would better understand our wants and needs.

Students are finally taking advantage of an opportunity to get involved. These students feel they are best for the job because they know all about it they experienced these PG schools firsthand and graduated from them. Some arguments against them could be that they lack the experience of having such big responsibility and speaking for someone other than themselves is a heavy bargain. I support these college students taking on that responsibility, i don't think they will cause any damage to school systems because they know what the people want.

The supporters say the candidates have young frsh minds and age should not matter as long as they make positive change. People try to critisize thier age and ability to be responsible with the budget. Also, the increasing rate of teens graduating and going to a nice college could also go up. Some of the arguments against them were if they could understand adult information like budgets. My opinion on having these college students making the decision for PG County schools is that its great because it could make an impact on every kid around the world in both middle and high school. Some arguements against them is that they are still children/students and the fact that they are young with no experience to make a critical/important decision like that. I think that they should make the decision because they were recently in school so they know how school at a young age is and because they are still recently in school; just at a higher learning stage.
I believe that we should have more students on the board of education because they will see things in our eyes. I am not saying that they are going to give us a break every other week, but what im saying is that is that this is a perfect opportunity for them to give us what we really need.

I believe the students feel they are right for the job, because 1st and foremost they are students their selves and they probably feel that they have more of an advantage over the other entire applicant. And also they see a lot of things which could possibly help students in ways like graduating or some sort. Having these college students making the decisions for PG County schools would be good because some people feel more better when a student that is still learning & in school making/deciding rules for your school. Also some people feel more secure/better talking to students & peers rather than to some adults. I believe that college students should get the job because they know/understand what it takes to get to college & they know the hardships/challenges in trying to get to college and how it supposed to be done to make it there.
The supporters of the Candidates running for office of PG school board think they are right for the job because of there experience in the county system. Some of the arguments against them is there age, which they can consider lack of experience and can they manage money. If college students do make decisions for county school it would reflect that out peers are caring about there education and situation circumstances involving schools. But if it backfires it could put the county at a setback to.
They believe they are right for the job because they will brink new ideas to the board and with new ideas they can establish new ways of working things and making money. Some of the arguments are will they be responsible enough, their age, and how will they get money. Since they are fresh out of college they know what wrong with the college and what was good with it right off the top of their heads since they just got out. They can use that knowledge to improve colleges and the way they work. The only problem is if they dont take this serious enough and mess up this can make the county fall behind.

I think that it is good to have teens close to our ages in the PGC School Board because they can relate to the youth and what we need, do and like now in days. the main argument against them is there age, they may seem young but they are legally adults now. what i understood is that everyone but minor people love the fact that the youth is getting involved in things like that.

People might believe These three high school graduates are right for the job because they are young and knowledgeable about home high school life is in this Ara of time, meaning they could bring good ideas to the Pg school board. Although there would be some controversy to the matter. For example people may feel that since these kids are young they are immature and naive. One person had state in the text “I know we want to cultivate our young people to take a leadership role, but how are they going to run a [$1.6 billion] budget?” Boulware asked. “Do they know how to run a household budget?”.

In my opinion I believe this could be a step towards helping our school system. Having a generation who has been apart of the system to rise above and fix the problems located with in the PG school board could really be valuable.
