Iseraels law requires models to provide medical proof of their wight,and for the adverts to statw if an image has been altered to make a model appear thinner.supporters of the bill believe images of extereme thinnes to women are to balme for eating disorders.Critics say the legislation should have focused on health not weight, as some models are naturally very thin. they created this law because its bad for your health to be so skinny to see your bones.the law was necessary because you dont want to cause no one death because they think they have to be real skinny to look beautiful.

Israel is now forcing models to provide medical proof of their weight, and it also forces the adverts to tell if any image has been altered to make a model look thinner. I think Israel created these laws because they realized that many of their youth were starving themselves to be thin like the models they see and idolize. Also, being too skinny is a health hazard and some models were severely underweight. I think the laws were necessary because the kids are going to want to be like the models and will probably try to starve themselves to achieve that status. Also, the models are so worried about how they look that they are not realizing the damaging effects of how skinny they are.
Some of the restrictions Israel is now enforcing for models is too provide medical proof of their weight , and the document it has to be up to date . Also they have to have advertisers state whether they made altercations to a picture to make it seem as though the model is thinner . I think that instead of focusing on the weight , they should have focused on the health of the models like the critics said because some people are just naturally small and petite , like ME !

the people have made a law in which requires the models to have medical proof of there weight and to have a regular up to date report certifying there weight for jobs and they need a BMI no less then 18.5 based on the weight & height. they have created these laws to ensure the life's of the models and the younger girls that see them. i think the are necessary because they are trying to better the health of the models and of the youth. in real life nobody has to be skinny to the bone to look beautiful you have to b proud of how u look but, if you are over weight and want to lose a lil weight do exerciser and eat right to turn that fat into muscle.

2. I think that the eating disorders among females around the world uproot from what is presented on pictures and runways. So, I'm guessing that Israel isn't wasting any time by trying to stop this terrible phenomenon.
3. I actually do think that these laws are necessary, because image is everything to teenage girls. And unfortunately, eating disorders are what a vast majority of females turn to. I think by Israel taking these specific steps, it might encourage other regions to do the same.

i think them putting laws on the models is a good thing. models ofen starve thereself in order to be perfect. i alo think that the laws are necessary and probably the only reason the girls eat lik they are suppose to.

I think they created this law because they don't wan't females who are not as small to feel bad about themselves also because many young girls wan't to be like the girls on magazines and will make themselves unhealthy to get there. The Restrictions That Israel Is Now Enforcing For Models Is To Provide Medical Proof For Their Weight and For Them To State If They Altered The Picture. They Say They Created This Law Because It Is The Reason Why Young Girls Are Having Eating Disorders. It Think It Is Both Because Yes Some Of The Eating Disorders Are Because Of The Models On T.V And In Magazines But Also It's Not Their Fault That some Of Their Models Are Naturally Skinny And Was Born That Way!

Some of the restrictions that Israel is enforcing for the models are to not eat in order to stay in the fashion industry or get a job in it and having to have medical proof of the model's actual weight. They created these laws because models have been on an unhealthy diet when they're already skinny & okay! I think that this is unfair because this is torturing the models & their health! They deserve so much better treatment!
From the article, some of the restrictions Israel is now enforcing for models are that models are not able to modify photos of themselves to look thinner, models shouldn't have a body mass index lower than 18.5, and that models should "have an up-to-date doctor's report certifying their weight." The reason for Israel creating these laws is protecting the lives of the models and the lives of the young girls who are inspired by the models body of becoming attractive and who starving themselves or throwing up food to look like a model. These laws were necessary because the models might be losing their lives by trying to become really thin and to avoid young girls following this path to look as beautiful as the models, but the laws become unfair because some models are thin not on purpose since some models have a thin body because they're not able to gain as much weight as others when they eat and lose the weight they have gained from exercising and these models wouldn't be able to model with this law.

Israel is passing a law that states that a model has to be of a healthy body weight, have an up to date doctors report, and that pictures should state when they have been altered to make the model appear thinner.They made these laws so that they can reduce the rate of girls who ave severe eating disorders because they want to look like the models they see in the media. I think that the laws are necessary because if they show anorexic models in the media then girls will think that that is what people want to see.Personally I think that outfits look better at a healthy body weight and Modeling isn't even about how the person looks! It's about the person's products and promoting their products not the person. Having an ulta-skinny-I-need-a-quadruple-Cheeseburger-with-a-side-of-fries-and-a-Xlarge- milkshake kind of person makes the product look bad and if the person is just naturally skinny and not anorexic skinny then they should provide products they could model that looks good on them and best suited for them so that people don't go and starve themselves thin.
So now it's basically illegal to be a really thin model in Israel because, it causes you girls to think that the "Starving Look" is in(:D) So they become anorexic and bulimic because they want to copy "Hungry people". From that its pretty obvious that the law was made so young girls would stop torturing and killing themselves because they think it will make them look good. I think these laws are necessary but also not fair. It's needed so that the young people will stop starving themselves but it also isn't fair because some people are naturally thin so basically to get the job they have to eat a lot and develop a different eating disorder.

I think this is absolutely fair and furthermore believe that the United States needs to follow suit. I believe that selling a false image of perfection. It also makes the young girls in this country feel bad that they do not look like these women and leads to eating disorders. The U.S needs to adjust quickly.

These laws were created to combat the weight issues in young women and aspiring models. I believe these laws are fair to a certain extent. Designers shouldn't be allowed to decrease the body mass of their models on film, though not all small women are unhealthy and actual health not weight alone should be considered as well.

Necessary because it will help with most models health but unfair because some model's are just naturally skinny.
Israel now is stating that models have to have medical proof of their weight and that they have to advertise if their weight was altered and edited. I think that this is good because there are so many kids and teens who look up to models and stave themselves so they can look like them. Now they dont have to do that anymore. Another thing is now the model can live healthy because being soo skinny can make you sick or even kill you. I think they should enforce more attention to the plus size models as well though skinny is not in anymore anyways but either way it a good thing some changes are being made.

Isreal is asking for the proof of the model's weight. I think they created these laws because, some people go through alot just to stay in shape. But i dont think its fair that you have to be certain weight just to be a model . Everyone is not goin to always be the same size.
